Ascot Resources Limited (ASX: AZQ) (“Ascot”) refers to the notice lodged by Sedgman Ltd (Sedgman) on the ASX Companies Announcement Platform on 2 September 2014 (Notice). The Notice records a change in Sedgman’s voting power in Ascot from 13.8% to 7.4%. Ascot notes that the change in voting power is due to share issues by Ascot to new and existing shareholders (including Sedgman) rather than as a result of any sale or disposal of shares held by Sedgman.
